Medication Take Back at Riverhead STOP DAY – Highway Yard

The Riverhead Community Coalition for Safe and Drug-Free Youth will be hosting a drive up medication take back event in partnership with the Riverhead Highway Department’s STOP Day (Stop Throwing Out Pollutants) and the Riverhead Police Department. Â Community members can use this opportunity to safely dispose of unused, unwanted and expired medications while helping to prevent youth substance abuse and keeping drugs out of the waterways. There will be free giveaways for participants, who can just drive up to the entrance to drop off their medication.
