18th National Prescription Drug Take Back Day at PBMC

The Riverhead Community Coalition for Safe and Drug-Free Youth is hosting a medication take back event in conjunction with the DEA’s 18th National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. On Saturday, October 26th, community members can safely dispose of their expired, unwanted and unused medication.
The event will take place in the lobby of Peconic Bay Medical Center from 10 AM – 2 PM. The Riverhead Police Department will be present and accept all medication as long as it is properly sealed. In addition, the event offers the convenience of drive-up disposal and includes giveaways for the participants.
