Riverhead Community Awareness Program, Inc. Social Worker (LCSW) – Full time school-based position for an experienced, licensed social worker to provide assessments, short-term counseling and referrals to high school students. Coordinate peer leadership program and train students to deliver monthly Life Skills Training (LST) to elementary students. Master’s degree plus LCSW required. Hours are 7-2:30, with occasional after-school hours.

Community Prevention Specialist – Full time position providing both school- and community-based substance abuse prevention. Bachelor’s degree in education, social work or related subject. Master’s degree in Public Health, Social Work or related field preferred; Bachelor’s degree required. NYS OASAS CPP or CPS credential to be obtained within 2 years of hire. Local travel and some evening hours are required.

Administrative Assistant – Full time position for an individual with superior organization and communication skills and ability to support multiple team members. Proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher and PowerPoint. Ability to use web-based programs including WordPress, Constant Contact, and social media preferred. Local travel and occasional attendance at evening events are required.
